FAQ - Contest Result
1. What if no Specialists register for my contest?
If by the registration deadline there are no Specialists or fewer than three Specialists registered, the contest will be canceled and you will receive a full refund.
2. What if I don’t find suitable candidates in Stage 1?
If, after Stage 1 (Selection) ends, you feel that none of the submitted portfolios or mockups meet your criteria:
You may extend the Stage 1 duration to attract more participants.
You may also refine or clarify your project brief to help Specialists submit more accurate samples.
Please note that you are advised to proceed to Stage 2 only when you are confident in the quality of the shortlisted candidates.
3. If there are too many submissions, can Arxilab help with the evaluation?
Yes. If you receive a large number of submissions and need assistance in the evaluation process, the Arxilab team is available to help guide your decision-making.
4. How many Specialists can I select in Stage 1?
You may select up to 3 Specialists to proceed to Stage 2.
5. What is the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 deliverables?
Stage 1 Output: Portfolio and mockup (concept samples or rough sketches). The purpose is to validate skill level and design compatibility.
Stage 2 Output: Complete design documents, technical details, or final visualizations based on the agreed project scope.
6. Can I request revisions during Stage 2?
Yes, and it is highly recommended. Since Stage 2 lasts longer (1–4 weeks), you can communicate with shortlisted Specialists through a dedicated discussion forum to provide feedback and direction, ensuring the final results align with your expectations before selecting the winner.
7. When should I select the winner?
Winners are selected after Stage 2 (Execution) is completed.
Once all shortlisted Specialists submit their final work, you will have 7 business days to review the submissions and select either three winners or one main winner.
8. What documents will I receive from the Specialists?
Depending on the contest type and your project requirements, deliverables may include:
3D files (SketchUp, 3ds Max, etc.)
AutoCAD files or similar
Cost estimation files (RAB)
AI or design prompts
Some Specialists may also include additional visuals, animations, or supplementary documents.
9. How is the contest prize distributed?
Prize distribution follows this structure:
1st Place: 60% of the total prize
2nd Place: 30%
3rd Place: 10%
If you choose only one winner, the first-place winner will receive 100% of the prize.
10. How do I receive the final files from the winner?
After you click “Select Winner”, the system will activate the File Transfer feature:
The winner uploads the master files according to the agreed requirements.
You are given time to review and verify file completeness before the prize funds are released to the Specialist.
With Stage 2 in place, final results are more detailed, as shortlisted Specialists are given a longer working period (1–4 weeks).
11. What if a selected Specialist fails to submit the final work (Ghosting)?
Your security is our priority. In Arxilab, Specialists entering Stage 2 are bound by strict commitment rules:
Any Specialist who ghosts will receive a permanent deduction of 5 Project Slots.
If this occurs, you may select another winner from the remaining Stage 2 shortlist or submit a claim under Arxilab’s Refund Policy.
