FAQ - How It Works
Step 1: Registering on Arxilab
Open the Arxilab Website:
Visit www.arxilab.com through your web browser.
Registration Form:
Choose whether you want to register as an "Owner" (architect) or "Specialist" (designer). Fill out the registration form with the required information such as name, address, email, etc. Click "Submit" or "Register" to complete the registration process.
Step 2: Uploading a Project (For Project Owners)
Create a New Contest:
On your dashboard, click "Post a Project" or "Launch a Contest". Fill in the project details, including the project name, description, and specific design requirements. Upload relevant images, maps, plans, or other supporting documents related to the project.
Set the Prize:
Specify the number of winners and the amount of the reward to be given to the contest winners. You can also set a reward for the runner-up if desired.
Set the Deadline:
Specify the deadline for submitting design proposals. Ensure you provide enough time for specialists to work on your project.
Pay Administrative Fees:
Pay the administrative fees charged by Arxilab to start the contest. You can make the payment via PayPal or other provided payment methods.
Step 3: Participating in a Contest (For Specialists)
Browse Contests:
Explore available contests on the dashboard or the contest page. Click on a project that interests you to see the full details.
Review Project Brief:
Carefully read the project brief, design requirements, and the deadline set by the project owner. Download all supporting documents provided to understand the project better.
Submit Design Proposal:
Work on your design according to the project brief and specified requirements. Upload your design proposal through the Arxilab platform before the specified deadline. Include an explanation of your design, concept, and the solutions you offer (optional).
Step 4: Evaluation Process and Feedback
Project Owner Feedback:
Project owners can provide feedback to specialists during the contest. Use this feedback to improve and adjust your design.
Assessment:
After the deadline, the project owner will assess all received design entries. The project owner can choose a winning design based on set criteria and personal preference.
Step 5: Winner Announcement and Prize Distribution
Announcement of Winners:
The project owner announces the contest winner through the Arxilab platform. Winners and runners-up (if any) will be notified via email.
Prize Distribution:
Cash prizes are awarded to the winner through the Arxilab platform. Arxilab will handle the prize distribution and ensure that the winner receives their payment.
Step 6: Additional Benefits and Exposure
Design Gallery:
All designs submitted in the contest will be displayed in the project gallery on the Arxilab website. This provides additional exposure for specialists and an opportunity to attract attention from other potential project owners.
Testimonials and Reviews:
Project owners can provide testimonials and reviews about the specialists and the designs they received. Specialists can also build a portfolio of projects they have worked on through contests on Arxilab.
